Amjad Kinjawi, DMD, came to Amerident as a cosmetic and general restorative dentist in 2006.  He has over 20 years experience helping patients to achieve and maintain their highest level of oral health, esthetics and function.  Dr. Kinjawi received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and completed an additional residency and degree in Minor Oral Surgery from Montpellier University, Medical School, Montpellier, Rance.  His commitment to continuing education is exemplified by over 500 hours of credits in cosmetic and restorative dentistry (Cerinate Smile Design (Lumineers), veneers, crown and bridge) and endodontics, among others.  Dr. Kinjawi is also an experienced certified Invisalign practitioner and is trained to fit dental appliances for sleep apnea.  He maintains membership in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Dental Society (ADA).  Dr. Kinjawi and his wife live in Massachusetts.

Matthew Lann, DDS, MMSc, is an associate at Amerident in the practice of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.  Dr. Lann received his Certificate in Periodontics and a Masters of Medical Science (Oral Biology) from the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, New York.  He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Periodontal Society, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.  Dr. Lann is a committed participant in our multi-disciplinary team approach to aid patients in achieving their dental health goals.  To ensure that his patients remain relaxed and comfortable during implant or periodontal treatments, Dr. Lann offers an option of oral medication to reduce or eliminate dental anxiety or fear.  He lives with his wife (a pediatric dentist) and two sons in Massachusetts.

Suman Nalla, DMD, joined Amerident in March 2003 after having practiced for over ten years.  Dr. Nalla’s expertise lies in restoring optimum function and esthetics to his patient’s smiles.  Dr. Nalla graduated with Bachelor of Dental Science Degree from H.K.E.S Dental College and Hospital and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Nalla advances his skills each year with many hours of continuing education that reflect his interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, with advanced training in Dental Implantology, Cerinate Smile Design (Lumineers®), Endodontics, Dentures and Anterior Esthetics. A member of the American Dental Society, the New Hampshire Dental Society and the Indian Dental Association, Dr. Nalla maintains active licensure in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Dr. Nalla’s patients routinely express high satisfaction with the skill and quality of his work, as well as his gentle care.  He lives with his wife, also a dentist, and two sons in Nashua.

Our Hygienists

Sarah, RDH, decided to become a Dental Hygienist shortly after receiving her Associate Degree in Computer Programming and finding that she really wanted to work more with people than with computers.  And she certainly has found her calling!  Her gentle and caring manner comes across easily whether she’s explaining the process of periodontal disease or demonstrating flossing technique.  She's earned state certifications in Local Anesthesia, In Office Tooth Whitening, and Monitoring Nitrous Anesthesia.  Sarah is also our hygiene department manager.  She lives with her husband, new son and a yellow Labrador Retriever in Goffstown.

Mitra, RDH, puts all her years of experience as a hygienist, as well as her heart and soul, into her work as she sees each of her patients.  With high energy and great generosity of time, knowledge and spirit, she makes her patients, and all of us, thankful she’s part of our team.  Mitra’s greatest joy and biggest smiles come when she sees results of improved home care or healthier gums after hygiene treatment.  And she has frequent “success stories” to share with a long list of dedicated patients!  Mitra is certified in Local Anesthesial, In-Office Tooth Whitening and Monitoring Nitrous Anesthesia.  She lives in Nashua with her husband and two young sons.

Kendra, RDH, had an interesting career path on her way to becoming a hygienist: from serving in the Navy to sales and customer service in communications.  But as a hygienist she finds her greatest satisfaction helping her patients to regain and maintain their best oral health.  Kendra enjoys using the advantages of technology to aid in providing care and education, but her manner is always warm and personal while showing “exceptional patience”. She has certifications in Local Anesthesia, In-Office Tooth Whitening and Monitoring Nitrous Anesthesia.  A New Hampshire native, Kendra lives with her husband and three sons in Merrimack.

Meghan, RDH, joined Amerident after moving to Amherst from Maine.  She has a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University and years of experience in general and periodontal practices.  She loves the professional relationship she develops with her patients as they work together towards good oral and general health.  Meghan works in a calm environment and with a gentle touch keeping patients relaxed and comfortable.  She is certified in Local Anesthesia, In-Office Tooth Whitening, and Monitoring Nitrous Anesthesia.  In her free time she loves to golf, ski and visit the ocean.  Meghan is  married and has two beautiful Golden-doodle dogs.

 Our Dental Assistants

Keri is our Clinical Manager and a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).  She keeps everything running smoothly in the patient care area and, with all of her experience, has the answer to most questions or knows where to go to find one.  Keri is also our OSHA and Infection Control Officer and keeps us up-to-date with education, new products and procedures.  Her attention to detail allowed Amerident to pass our annual voluntary safety/ infection control inspection and training with a perfect score and no recommendations for the past two years!   She lives in Nashua with her husband, daughter, one cat and a very happy bulldog.

Laura was the first-ever recipient of our Kudos Award, given by the team to an employee who does “above and beyond” in their work.  And it’s typical that she’s always busy working with patients or helping other team members, usually before she’s even asked, and always with a smile!  Her positive outlook is always appreciated by patients and co-workers alike.  Laura works closely with Dr. Kinjawi, and is our “special assistant” for denture work.  Originally from upstate New York, Laura lives in New Ipswich, has two grown daughters, three grandchildren and three cats.

Kate spent time in retail customer service and management before starting her career in dental assisting.  An irrepressible positive attitude, "inexhaustible patience, unfailing humor and the ability to actively listen” are qualities she brought to the chairside.  Kate enjoys the impact she has on improving the health of each patient she works with.  She continues to actively seek out educational opportunities to expand her knowledge and abilities and has achieved certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA).  In Kate and her husband, who live in Nashua, are on an extended quest to visit all 30 major league baseball parks - they're up to 12 so far!

Freddie became a dental assistant after years of experience as a customer service representative and computer support specialist.  Drawn to challenges and looking for opportunities for growth, he has a "can-do" attitude and is always open to trying something new.  Freddie uses his abilities to really listen to each of his patients so that they have the best dental experience possible.  His calm demeanor helps keep the atmosphere relaxed.  In is free time he enjoys martial arts - but so far we've had no demonstrations in the office!  Freddie and his wife (and one cat) live in Hudson.

Shanna first came to Amerident as an intern in the dental assisting program at NHTI - she actually stayed with us for two rotations instead of the usual one.  It was such a good fit that she joined us a permanent team member soon after her graduation and it's been wonderful ever since!  Shanna has a wonderful joy of life that often comes out in giggles - we can't help but smile with her.  In fact, we often hear patients joining her and Dr. Patel in hearty laughter - an indication of the level of comfort and enjoyment Shanna helps provide during their appointments.  Shanna lives in Manchester, enjoys music and socializing with friends and family.

Our Administrative Team

Debby is our Treatment Coordinator - the one you can count on explain recommended treatment, find convenient appointment times, and assist with insurance questions and financial options. With over 17 years of dental office experience, Debby absolutely loves working with patients knowing that the dental service we provide is so important to overall health.  She shows her enthusiasm for dentistry every day!  In her free time she loves hiking and bicycling - she also wields a mean pair of knitting needles!  Debby has two grown daughters, two grandchildren, and lives with her husband and two cats in Amherst.

Julie is our Practice Administrator and has been known to do anything and everything in the office (except actual dentistry).  With a BS in Nursing and a long career in patient care and healthcare management, she brought a vision to the practice for exceptional dental care and customer service – and you can see and feel the results in the five years she has been here.  Her ability to unite a team that works together is proven by our quality staff.  In her free time Julie is attending graduate school for her MBA.  In any time remaining she enjoys hiking with her dogs, whitewater kayaking and skiing.  She also has a very green thumb.  Julie lives in Hollis with her husband and a house full of dogs and cats.

Lori came to Amerident after seven years in the banking industry as an officer, supervisor and assistant manager, where she received awards for excellence in customer service.  Our patients truly benefit from her enthusiasm, financial knowledge and people skills!  As Office Manager, Lori makes it “personal” with each patient by listening to their concerns while helping them find solutions to insurance or financial questions.  What she likes most about working in dentistry is the warm feeling she gets from helping others.  Lori’s hobbies (when she has time) are playing piano and traveling.  She is married and lives in Wilton with three children and a much-loved dog.

Lynne has been active in dentistry since the age of fifteen when she started part time in a dental office, worked for 13 years as a registered dental hygienist and 10 years as a representative for a major dental healthcare corporation.  Now she comes full circle, bringing her expertise in patient care and customer service to our Patient Coordinator position.  Lynne's caring and compassionate nature are evident as she helps patients understand and schedule needed treatment, while her warm smile and quick wit bring a smile to patients and staff alike.  In her free time she loves to travel, cook and is a yoga enthusiast.  She lives with her family and three cats in Londonderry.

Dianne comes from a long and interesting career in retail management and customer service.  Her search for a new career path led her to us in 2008 when she became our new Insurance and Financial Coordinator.  She’s still getting used to sitting for long periods of time but the satisfaction of helping people is what makes it all worthwhile for her.  Similarly, our patients appreciate her level-headedness and down-to-earth manner.  In her free time she likes to be crafty (as in artsy, not sly!) and enjoys the outdoors.  Dianne lives in Nashua with her family.
